Share Your Story

Thank you for trusting the Global Endometriosis Movement (GEM) with your story.

Every story shared helps raise awareness, reduce stigma, and bring hope to others living with endometriosis.

Before submitting your story, please read the following information carefully.

By submitting your story, you confirm that:

1. This is your story

The story you submit reflects your own personal experience, or you have permission to share it on behalf of another person.

2. The information is accurate

To the best of your knowledge, the information you provide is true and accurate.

3. You understand that sharing is voluntary

Submitting your story is entirely voluntary.

You may choose how much or how little information you wish to share.

4. Privacy

Please do not include information that you do not wish to make public.

If you include photographs, videos, or other media with your submission, you confirm that you own them or have permission to share them.

If you include names or photographs of other individuals, you confirm that you have obtained their permission.

5. Editing

GEM may make minor edits for:

  • spelling
  • grammar
  • formatting
  • readability

We will never intentionally change the meaning or personal experience of your story.

6. Publication

Submitting your story does not guarantee publication.

GEM reserves the right to determine whether a submission is appropriate for publication.

7. Withdrawal

If your story is published and you later wish to have it removed, you may contact GEM.

We will make reasonable efforts to remove it from our website within a reasonable period of time.

8. Educational Purpose

Your story may be used to:

  • educate the public
  • increase awareness
  • support advocacy
  • inspire hope
  • improve understanding of endometriosis

Your story will never be sold.

9. Copyright

You remain the owner of your story.

By submitting it, you grant GEM a non-exclusive permission to publish and display your story across GEM platforms for educational and awareness purposes.

You may continue to use your own story elsewhere.

10. Respectful Community

We ask every contributor to help create a respectful and supportive community.

Stories containing hate speech, harassment, discrimination, misinformation, or unlawful content will not be published.
